One Down, Twenty Eight to Go

At this point I’ve been here in 29 Palms for two and a half weeks. It’s been a pretty uneventful training cycle, but today was very exciting. Today I saw my first palm since arriving. I failed to get a picture of it since it was next to a water purification building, and our vehicle passed it before I could get out my camera. I wonder where the other 28 are. Perhaps they died, but I still hold out hope that I will see them all.
