Impending Transfer

This evening I have just been informed that I will be officially moved from IRT to 1st Squad for the remainder of the deployment. This transfer should not take place until Saturday morning, but as I am not currently on the manifest for IRT it would appear that I have run my last mission with them. I have to say I've had a good experience with IRT. We ran some very successful missions and had some good times, but all things must pass. 1st Squad is mainly charged with running combat logistics patrols, which will be a change for me since I have never run a planned mission. I'm more used to learning of my missions 15 minutes before we are outside the wire. This move will not only mean that I will have different types of missions, but also that I will be with a new team. I will be reunited with LCpl Howard and Sgt Word, who were transferred to 1st from IRT while I was still Corporal of the Guard. I will also be teamed up with my good friends May and Perez. All told, I'm pretty happy with the move.
