Today I am both proud and saddened to report that security platoon is losing one of our team members. Cpl Ramos has recently been selected to head up a an armory inventory project and will be very soon departing from our ranks. This means that the good humor and enthusiasm for which he is known will now be lacking from our very diverse and well developed platoon. Although I will certainly miss him I also understand that this assignment is quite an honor for an armorer, and am pleased that they chose such a capable Marine. This is an assignment that will take Ramos not just out of our group, but all over Afghanistan, as he is to inventory a great many armories on numerous bases. Good luck A.R.
