Here! Finally!

Hello all! I am pleased to report that I am finally in Afghanistan. We have been here for a little under a week, arriving by way of Germany and then Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan was particularly interesting because of the peculiar people, and also because I could see the Himalayas from my front door. Right now my laptop is not tied into the network here, so I have little time to post. This will change soon though.
